by wikihow - First part: Letting it all out.
1. Cry your heart out.
Nothing beats a good cry. Don't deny yourself that you are, in fact, hurting. Bad feelings do not go away when you ignore them. Acceptance is definitely the key. You can't move on unless you've accepted that you've been in this phase.
2. Never be angry at him, it can only get worse.
If you let yourself be angry at him/her, your thoughts will be filled with him/her, and yes, you can't move on like that.
3. Indulge yourself into something you want.
Stress-eat but don't call it 'stress-eating'. Eat chocolates, great for the mind and it actually make girls happy (scientifically speaking). And don't forget to eat ice creams! It relaxes your mood so eat up! :)
My favourite chocolates are Reese's Peanut Buttercups and 3 Musketeers . So deal with it! :D |
Banana Blast (Cara Mia's version of Banana Split), I don't like it but it's ICE CREAM! |
4. Please don't listen to sad love songs, don't torture yourself.
Listen to happy music because happy music relaxes your mind, soul and body. The fact that I am torturing myself right now is none of anyone's business so just listen to these (just samples):
Watch without the sound, Pharell Williams look like a crazy man dancing along the streets. Haha.
Funny. I swear. Haha.
Scientifically relaxing music. :)
5. Talk things over with friends.
Friends give advice that you can actually use and if not, they listen as long as you want them too. A shoulder to cry on is a necessity during this time of grief.
6. Limit your time of grieving.
You can't cry everyday, there will come a time when you have to stop and just think everything through. Crying is good but it doesn't solve anything.
