Ecotools Brushes Review: Yay or Nay?

Hi everyone! It's been a really long time since I wrote here in my blog and now, I'm back for good. :)

A lot has happened since I last wrote but now, I'm into makeup products! I have yet to build my makeup kit but I already started with some basics. Anyway, I'm here to talk about my new Ecotools Brushes! I have quite a few. This was given to me by my friend who went to New York just last month.

I have three individual brushes and one 6-pc set brushes. I'll start with the latter. This set is called SIX-PIECE DAY-TO-NIGHT SET. It includes:

From left to right: eyeshadow brush, highlighting fan brush, lip liner brush, angled brush, pointed concealer brush.

1. A very pretty brush holder/pouch in which you can see from the inside that there are garters which you may put your brushes. It's very organized and the design is really cute. :)

2. An ANGLED FACE BRUSH  for bronzer. This brush is super soft but it blends your bronzer nicely.

3. The Pointed Concealer Brush is okay for me but not great. I'm used to the generic concealer brush with flat top but this one is pointed and round. The upside of this is you can easily mark the parts where you want to use your concealer. The downside is that it super hard to blend using this. It's just awkward and the concealer scatter not blend. Another thing is, it uses too much product. I think the concealer goes in the brush so I use twice more than what I use when I use this brush. :(

4. This Highlighting Fan Brush is a little too small for me but it can easily be controlled since it's small. Your highlight will definitely be in their right shining places.

5. The Eyeshadow Brush is sooo soft. It places my eyeshadows well and it isn't prickly. :)

6. The Lip Liner Brush is very sturdy but soft at top. It glides thru my lips smoothly.

I give this set a 4 out of 5 rating. Because the pouch is sooo cute and most of the brushes are beyond average.

Next up is my favorite among all of this! The Stippling brush! This brush blends my foundation well and I also use this as my brush for concealer (since I obviously despise the concealer brush from the set). It's soft but a bit sturdy (maybe why it blends soo well) and it's not too big nor too small to be uncomfortable to use. I love this so much I even use this for my powder and blush. I give this 5 out 5 rating. :D

The Blending and Bronzing Brush is a bit bigger, a bit fluffier and a bit softer than the stippling brush. It also blends well and it can reach even the most shallow parts of your face easily. 5 out of 5 rating. :)

The Large Powder Brush is the softest among the three. This is perfect for making a great base for your look. I give this a 5 out 5 rating. :)

That's all for now. I'll review a set of lippies next time. Thanks for reading! :)

Comment if you have any question or if you agree or disagree with my review. Slay girls! :)
